| Post subject: | Micro-T Titanium Steering Upgrade |
This review applies to: Hot Racing TMCT21A, TMCT21M06, TMCT21M08 http://www.hot-racing.com/ ![]() I just received my shipment of front arm/axle upgrades for the Team Losi Micro-T. Upon initial inspection and review of characteristics of titanium, the material is a perfect match and quite well made at that! The entire product seems to be created via CNC and not Billet, much better for precision and quality. The axles are relatively snug, reducing noticeable slop. Compared to the Losi-made steering links the precision is slightly lower, but not very noticeable and run at a much lower price. The actual axles fit less snug than the Losi-brand axles, so even purchasing the arm upgrades for use with the Losi axles fits as snug as can be! (almost with some pressure) Also the three attachment points for the steering links makes for a distinguishable characteristic of this product. Conclusively, I would recommend this product. But for those who don't mind spending roughly $5 more for a slightly more precise, yet less configurable setup; you may want to consider buying from Losi, or swap parts from each make. Recommended: Yes Best Part Upgrade: Arguable Alternative: LOSB1533 Rating: 8/10 Pros: Titanium, selectable linkage points Cons: Precision slightly lower than that of Losi brand upgrade Notes: Actual armature fits extremely snug with Losi brand axles |
